Business Networking SkillsBusiness Networking Skills

Business networking is the process of creating mutually beneficial relationships with prospects, customers and colleagues.

Problem

“It’s not what you know, it’s who you know” the old adage goes. Of course the reality is that success in business depends on both what AND who you know. However, the majority of people spend too much time on the ‘what’ at the expense of the ‘who’. The success of every person in business depends on the strength their relationships both within and outside their company.

Solution

This intensive 4-hour networking skills “bootcamp” enables candidates to overcome the barriers to successful networking. They will learn how to create an effective, personal networking strategy to help achieve the objectives they have set themselves. Role-play is used extensively in this workshop to allow candidates to practise all the techniques in “live” situations.

Deliverables: by the end of the 4 hours delegates will be able to:

  • Identify networking opportunities
  • Understand when to use online tools – and when not to
  • Know how to best join and leave conversations
  • Overcome common networking inhibitions
  • Interpret and use body language
  • Modify the techniques to suit their own personal style

Who should attend
